Congratulations to Jackson Brooks, who celebrates his 100th senior game at the club this weekend, against Salisbury. Brooksy started his SMOSH WL journey in the u14s, back in 2014. Since his debut, he’s remained with the club ever since, moving into senior footy in 2020 in the C Grade. Back then, Brooksy was a green footballer, possessing great athleticism but lacking a bit of confidence. However, he quickly found his role as a key-position backman, and incrementally improved year-on-year, to ultimately play A Grade footy in 2026. Not many people would’ve given him a chance of ever playing A Grade, but his constant improvement is a testament to his work rate and desire to improve – a great role model for the younger players at the club. Off-field, Brooksy is one of the quieter blokes you’ll meet, is always helping out on the BBQ, and arguably the nicest guy at the club. Congratulations on the 100 and good luck this weekend mate!
