SMOSH West Lakes Mens Football Club

The SMOSH West Lakes Football Club exists in it’s current format since 1996 and is affectionately called the Lions. However, it’s roots stem from the Semaphore Park and Hindmarsh football clubs back in the 1930’s. These two clubs became St Michael’s Old Scholars and West Lakes footy clubs and hence the amalgamation of those two clubs in 1996 form it’s current format.  Click here to read our full history.

The club is well governed by young professionals, has support from members and sponsors, is financially sound, as well as playing a good standard of amateur league football suggesting a long and bright future. We invite any persons who may just want to be social spectators or if looking for some active involvement within the football club in any capacity, to check out our clubrooms and have chat with members and staff.

Sponsor a Player

One of the initiatives we have at the SMOSH West Lakes Footy Club is the ability to sponsor a player. This initiative started a few years back when senior coach Luke Stubing wanted a means for players to contribute to the costs of running the club. This is a great way to personally support a player and promote your business throughout our club. A poster (see example) will be posted above the bar at the West Lakes Sports Club, and a copy provided to you, the sponsor.

Player sponsorship is $500 per player, which also saves your player $200 off their playing subs.

See player sponsorship form below for additional information.
