*Coaching Announcement*

We are excited to announce Adrian Wagnitz will be our U14 Coach for the 2025 season!

Adrian grew up playing for Adelaide Hills powerhouse Hahndorf Football Club where he enjoyed premiership success as a player. He also went through the Sturt development program as a junior and represented the Hills Association.

His first coaching appointment was the Hahndorf U14s way back in 1997, before later coaching the club's U17s and then assisting with the seniors. Most recently Adrian was an assistant coach of our SMOSH U12 premiership team in 2023, the year his family moved to the Den.

Adrian's coaching experience extends beyond footy - he was heavily involved with softball as a player and coach, and represented the State on several occasions, including as an assistant coach of the U16 boys and Open Men's teams. Following this he was also actively involved with the South Australia Water Skiing and Wakeboard Federation in both coaching and administrative roles at State and National levels.

It is this high-performance exposure that Adrian is looking forward to bringing to the SMOSH U14 in 2025 and challenging the squad to develop on and off the field. All of Adrian's plans for the season align with our new Lion's Den Pathway program and we are thrilled to have him onboard to help us launch it!
