Brothers in Arms
The Parham name has been a part of the fabric of the Den for the past twenty seasons. It is testimony to their longevity that the boys will create history on Saturday when they achieve an incredible milestone – 1000 games of Senior football for the mighty Lions. Lyndon (348), Aidan (333) and Taylor (316) will take the field against Hope Valley and once again don the guernsey and bleed maroon, gold and blue for the club. Their respective CV’s include numerous premierships, Association medals, Club Best and Fairests and it’s no surprise that all three made the Team of the Decade, with Lyndon having the distinction of being named its Captain. Puss, Sticks and Tails will be etched in Lions’ folklore and no doubt as the years pass by, the “brothers in arms” will reflect fondly on their deeds both on and off the field. The SMOSH West Lakes Football Club won’t be the same whenever they decide to finally hang up their boots and their selfless legacy will live on for all those who have been a part of this remarkable chapter in Lions’ history.
